MCCORMACK STUDENT LEADERS CLUB
WHO ARE WE?
The Mark H. McCormack Department of Sport Management Leaders Club is a student-run sport management organization at the University of Massachusetts Amherst that is dedicated to helping students excel through experiential learning. We sponsor many tournaments and sporting events, host guest speakers every semester, provide unique opportunities for students to interact with faculty, and gain real-world experience in the sports industry. We also highly encourage innovation among our members.

I am a junior Sports Management Major from Pembroke, Massachusetts. Since I joined MSL my freshman year, I have served on the General Executive Board, as the Executive Director of our Sales Summit, and as the Game Day Ops Director as well as the Basketball Ops Director for the PVTO. Outside of MSL, I have interned for Teamwork Online and worked as a Student Manager for the UMass Women’s Basketball team. My favorite Sports team will always be the Boston Celtics. I’m looking forward to an amazing year of MSL!

I am a Junior Accounting and Sport Management double major from Danvers, MA. I am the Treasurer for MSL and currently serve as the finance director for the PVTO. I also work gameday operations for Umass Athletics. My favorite team is the Boston Bruins.
Hi! I'm a junior Marketing and Sport major from South Lyon, Michigan. In MSL I've served as the Social Media Chair as well as a PVTO Marketing Team Member (’22) and Co-Director (’23). Outside of MSL I'm a Lead Intern for the Marketing and Fan Experience Department of UMass Athletics and am a Property Assistant for UMass Sport Properties (Learfield). I love golf and tend to root for Keegan Bradley and Joel Dahmen, or any American!

I am a Sophomore Sport Management & Accounting major from Deerfield, MA. I am currently the secretary of MSL, and I have previously held the Communications Chair. I also work as a property assistant for Learfield and my favorite sport is baseball.

Pioneer Valley Tip-Off
The Pioneer Valley Tip-Off is a student-run high school basketball showcase featuring some of the best talent in Central and Western Massachusetts! The Pioneer Valley Tip-Off was started in 2011 by Scott Moses '15 and Pat Sallet '15, both students at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and continues to be entirely student-run today! The showcase is held annually on the University of Massachusetts Amherst campus, where we strive to create a professional environment for fans and players alike.
